13th-Feb-2009 02:36 am - I hate cheaters....

Open letter to "alexhatz (PSN)

Congratulations... you've succeeded in pissing me off.... why? Because you cheated...

For all those who don't know, Mr.alexhatz, a "Gold Cross (10th prestige) on CoD4's Multiplayer apparently.. doesn't deserve that award...

"Why?" you ask?

Simple... because apparently, for him to do well... alexhatz... decided to use a modded controller (Lord only knows I'll be dealing with that crap appearing on the advertisement bars....)

Whats a modded controller? a controller that has been modified for cheating purposes, such as Auto-fire function

Whats this all mean? it means, that While alexhatz was using a G3... he was firing it full auto, despite the game setting it to semi auto in multi player

A VERY accurate Assault Rifle, with no Recoil and little if any spread, firing at full auto speed, yet being a semi auto gun.....

So.. to all my fellow PSN players.... block alexhatz.... let cheaters like him know... those who cheat, are nothing more than FAIL!

One of my biggest issues, is the whole "Noob" subject in games. Mainly, because it's applied to just about anything that works, all in the name of trying to make the game easier for one play style or another. Seriously. lets look

Camping in any Halo games, is noobish (part of the reason I stopped playing Halo PC) Because it would be such a pain in the ass to go follow the path of tracer rounds/smoketrails/glowing grenades, etc etc to the same guy who sniped you 3 times because you are a damn idiot.

using the M203 or GP30 Grenade launcher attachments (which take the place of a teir 1 perk, which surprise: is mainly gear related perks) in CoD4 is called being a Noob, and thus grenade launchers are called Noob-tubes (Shall I call the waaaaaahbulance  for all those who get killed by a Grenade launcher round?)

in FFXI, some players (not all, generally only a small portion) will call you a noob, if you don't follow their suggestion of using x sub/party/gear (I.E. I'm looking at you, Samurais who all shout "ZOMG! Hagun or GTFO noob!")

In WoW, your just called a noob for some random reason during an instance. Example:  doing the Shadow Fang Keep instance, and a level 21 Blood Elf Paladin calls everyone noobs, and then when we need him to cast his ressurection spells, states "oh Paladin's don't know that at this level" (odd.. then how come I have the Resurrection spell "Redemption" and I got it back at level 12, despite the fact that I too am a Blood Elf Paladin?)

Unless their doing something horribly wrong, they are not a noob, (my view of a noob being someone who brags constantly about their skills, and then when the time comes for them to show their skills, their like a deer caught in your headlights...)
