I am not amused....

Extra hint: It's a very very VERY bad thing... especially when I'm not in a good mood...

So, Acti/Blizzards and Infinity Ward's Biggest game of the year... and they managed to screw it up...

Day 1: "Oops! We forgot Trophy support"

Day 2: Hey uhm... uhm, the PS3 servers are down...and we also screwed up Friend inviting

"What don't look at us.. it's all Demon Ware's fault, they run the servers.. them and Sony!"

Fun fact... Demon Ware, the people who run the MW2 server is owned by....... Activision.....

IW, I am not amused by the blame game either... take the freaking blame....

I did not spend money on the FREAKING PRESTIGE edition just to run around my house wearing Night Vision goggles.....

It is there on the list of things to do though....

None the less... you mean to tell me, that the game you KNEW was going to have at least 80,000 users on any one time, seeing as from World at War's Multi player lobby, let alone the thousands who play Uncharted 2, Kill Zone2, Resistance 2... the list keeps going... And what's your excuse?

That's right, according to Gordon Brown's October 19th prediction... we're supposed to be all doomed by Dec. the 8th from Global ~~Cooling, Warming~~ "Climate Change" Unless we take DRASTIC MEASURES

I predict the exact opposite, we'll reach Dec. 8th, and the only catastrophe, will be to Mr. Brown's poor little Alarmist ego as it, and the junk science he uses, get's shattered to pieces..

Thus.. I now have a fancy Countdown Clock, for everyone's convenience

Well it's been a while since I did political post. But this ones a bit unique...

Mrs. Pelosi mentioned earlier this month that she was concerned about the hatred that was entering the health care debate.
Concerns about Violence.....

I wonder what ever gave her that idea?
Could it have been the beating of Black Conservative Ken Gladney outside of a St. Louis Town hall by SEIU thugs?

Wait! It must have been then the BushHitler signs of old, and Letterman making rape jokes about Sarah Palin's 14 yr old daughter?

There was this nifty little post by me last year, mere months before MW 2 was announced.

in it, gave my ideas that if a new Modern Warfare 2 was created, which weapons I think should be added....

Well now I've got a (possibly partial) list of what is new to the game weapon wise via www.callofduty.wikia.com

I have not edited in any weapons for this, but let's see what I got right!

Assault Rifles:

I said the following weapons should be in:
-IMI Tavor TAR-21: Status: I called it correctly, the TAR-21 will be in the game as an Assault rifle

-SA-80 series: I got it right, the L85A2 version will be in the game

-the F.N. SCAR series: Confirmed,t he SCAR-H will be in the game

- FN F2000 which I predicted is in the game

What I got wrong: XM-8, not in game.

What I didn't guess: AUG HBAR, FAMAS, FAL, and the ACR

so assault rifles are getting 8 new Assault rifles!
Weapons from the previous game not confirmed or not returning for assault rifles: G36, M14,

SMGs:
In only got 1 correct here for new weapons: the UMP

the P90 is returning, but it seems nothing else from the last game..... well sorta

the MP5k (Kurtz, which means "Short"), which is a variant of the MP5 (the MP5N appeared in CoD4). what is rumored that it may only have 15 round magazines, so that should be interesting to find out

One very interesting weapon however is going to be in the game, the TDI Vector: a .45 caliber SMG that is designed to use a device known as the Kriss Super V to direct moving parts during the firing cycle, downwards to reduce recoil.

MGs: WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!. I didn't get ANYTHING right on this
the M249 SAW is returning (possibly as the M240B)
the M60 may return as well
as is the MG that was my "Love-hate" gun, the RPD (I love to hate it.... especially when I'm not using it!)
What is new, is the SAW's big brother: the M240, and the MG4

Shotguns: I GOT ONE!!!!!
....and only one....
the SPAS-12

that's it....

You know... some of the choices... I should've seen. like the AA12, and Remington 870
the Striker is a bit of a surprise, but makes sense considering some of the game locales

you know what I didn't expect?

a Winchester 1887 to be in the game.

I didn't make any guesses in reality... I just... it was late at night and I didn't want to waste time on it...

good thing too, since so far, only 3 sniper rifles ahve been confirmed, the Dragunov, the Mark 14 Mod0 EBR (Razgriez is happy) and the WA2000

now.. I didn't make any guesses on pistols, but this time, there are 5 pistols, the new kid on the block joining the 4 returning guns: the Glock 18C Machine Pistol

I never thought i'd say this years ago... but... here I am... and i've got to say it...

in an age with the Obama Administration, we need defenders of Free Speech....

Unfortunetly, over the weekend, Bill O'Reilly has proven he's anything BUT that, when he decided to blast several conservative blogs on talk about the new SCOTUS pick, not because of what the bloggers posted, but because of commenters. He decided to attack them, saying "This is the blogs view points!"

They aren't... Commenters are free to post what they want, and doesn't necessary mean they express the view of the blog

So surely Mr. Bill "Holier than thou" O'Reilly's own website is clean then right?

Answer: Nope.. Bill is instead, an hypocritical liar. and when the Web Blog Patterico took screen caps of some of the same type commentors Bill blasted on the conservative blogs, Patterico had his "Premium membership" to O'Reilly's website terminated....

Bill, let me say this so you don't mistake my words....

, you hypocritical pompous "Holier than thou" liar scumbag. You know who I have alot of respect for? The cooks, some of our Dishwashers... we're the group of guys who do the real dirty work, We're cooking, we're working together, if one section falters, at worst, a domino effect happens, at best, the waiters will be lacking in something (food, tables, Clean plates/silverware. Mean while, not only do we have to work hard, not only do we take crap from a bunch of managers who been taught to not even know the first thing of having courage to tell a Customer sometimes their wrong (in cases of chain restaurants, like the one I work at), but we take crap from other co-workers

You know who you are..... I seriously couldn't care less if you earn 5 Dollers in tip money or over 100.... You are on the same rung of the ladder as me.

You know who I really don't like in my current profession

Hosting staff.....

These uptight, "I was the cool person in High school" in most cases, think their Assistant managers or something.....

Hmm Odd... I coulda sworn I was handed the same application and job description sheet....

Coulda sworn also that it never said anything about Hosting staff being proxy-AMs.....

Just saying...

Name me another job (out side of government) that for the most part, let's you be a whiny, self-centered moron who's only job is to just stand there, and say "hello, how many?

And to top it all, paid more than I am.....

Now yes, their are exceptions to the rule.... about 2, 3 max, at the place I work at.

If however, your either the moron Hostess who informed me that maybe I should go get a new job, because you don't like me, or the Host who whined like a baby when I asked you for some help... simply because you don't get paid tip money for helping to clean ONE table... you aren't those exceptions...

P.S. To the 2nd example. Stop throwing tempertantrums, throwing a towel at a table and causing scenes in front of Customers or the manager... Grow up or go back to pre-school if you're going to act like a child. Actually, you know what... I'm just going to make fun of you... or just introduce you to idiot 1's "logic"... Oh but it gets better. then theirs the talking....

Because how busy many of these "hard-working" (well minus the exceptions to the rule) brats are, they find the most Productive way to show their worth.... by talking 75-90% of the time to each other... it doesn't matter if your a customer, or another employee, they'll only talk to you when they feel like it.... I know this from both an employee angle, and a Customer Angle....

Laughing my butt off now, talk about backfiring. The DHS has caught some major well earned flak for their shoddy no facts/specifics report on "Right-wing extremist"

500+ people (as well as hundreds more of the drivers passing by the event who honked and waved in support) showed up at the Belair, Maryland Tea Party. In the rain and wind.

And when it was mentioned about us being called Extremist, we all cheered and laughed

...oh yea.. we did have a amazing ACORN Counter protest against us.....

....a grand amazing total of..... 2 nuts.......

SHOTGUNS: like Call of Duty 4, they come in 2 Variety's

The pump action Trench gun. and Semi Auto Double Barrel....
There are of course, some catches with them...

But of course.... no.. this would be too short of a post now if I just talked Shot guns.....

I ALSO have to talk about the pistols......

ALL 5 PISTOLS

So now we're up to 7 things for this post.....

I FINALLY, have to explain to all of you, EVERY SINGLE ATTACHMENT in the game.....

*Sigh*..... moving on....

SHOTGUNS

Trench gun: like Call of duty 4, the Shotguns have their magazine capacity reduced for "balance purposes" So instead of getting 6 shots before needing to reload.... you get 4.......... To me, this is kinda of the "average" shotgun. it gives you some decent range for shotgun,good power, and the option to equip a bayonet (yes it's actually worth it) I found the Grip isn't particularly useful in this game (really, you don't need it). And you won't lose your Tier 1 perk if you don't pick it. For Tier 2, I highly suggest Double Tap or Sleight of Hand (if you want to avoid criticism) Tier 3, I suggest Second Chance, Toss Back, or something else.

Double Barrel Shotgun: Now this gun is interesting, Basic and grip, it has good range, a close spread of shots and high power. With Sawn off, it's very inaccuate and short range (remember, Shotgun's are the only weapons who upon hitting max range, instead of just dealing minimum damage, the rounds "vanish".) and has a wide spread, but essentially ensures it's a 1HK weapon . The real down side is, that both of it's "attachments" are pretty useless and it's 2 shots before reload. Because of this major flaw, Sleight of hand becomes almost required. which will reload in less than a second rather than the extremely slow unaided way.

EDIT: it seems I should go into a bit more detail. the pelletes count as individual bullets, firing 8 at a time, dealing between 10-30 (Trenchgun) or double barrel which deals 15-40 damage depending on range (20-45 if using the sawn off) but there is no "Critical hit" multiplyers

Pistols!
World at War like MW has 5 pistols. The difference here is..... All 4 of the first ones are the same (20-40 damage, 8 round clips, same range) minus in reload times, apperance, and sights. So it comes down to preference.

M1911: The basic "all around" pistol, It does what it needs to do well.

Nambu Type 14: Despite it's poor quality in real life with a sub-par ammo round. in game, the Nambu is actually a good choice. It has the fatest mid clip reload, and the 2nd fastest empty clip reload out them all.. However, to represent the guns real life quality, the iron sights are misalligned, and will shoot slightly high and left of what you aim at. (not really notacible except at long ranges)

P-38: 2nd slowest mid reload, slowest. empty reload. but not by much... use it if you want to....

Tokarev TT-33: Slightly slower reload mid clip, but the fastest empty reload

and now finally.. the only one that's really distinct....

The .357 Magnum Revolver. a classic "6-shooter". 2-3 shots is all you'll need on most situations, (less of course, if you go for head shots) . It's also a great choice for Second Chance's last stand mode, as well as sniper class users as a trusty side arm while moving to a new location.. It's only down side is the need to reload it often and somewhat heavy recoil.

Attachments: *deep breath* .... almost done with this post....

-Aperture Sights (Availible to: all Rifle minus M1 Garand, all SMGs): WaW's version of the Red Dot sight. a thin black crosshair with a black dot in the middle for accurate "Snap shooting". a good choice for those who are having issues lining up shots with the ironsight, run and gunners, and quick precission shoorts.

-Bayonet: (Availible on: All Bolt Action Rifles minus the PTRS-41, M1 Garand, M1A1 Carbine, the M1897 Trench Gun. and the Type 99 LMG) Extends your melee attack's range and radius. a good choice for Iron Sight using Bolt action users, or those looking to keep the enemy away at rifle's lentgh.

-Bipod (availible to all MGs) Allows you to mount your MG on a suitable flat surface while standing our crouched. this increases it's RoF, and making it pinpoint accurate. It also causes more rounds to be fired, than normal, (.I.E. if 1 shot was normall fired unmounted, you'll fire 3-4 rounds instead, but only use up 1 round). since for many MGs, this is the only attachment, you might as well use it. (but on guns like Type 99, B.A.R. and the FG-42, with small ammo capacity, you might want to consider carefully when to use it). Also reloading the weapon will cause you to automatically dismount it.

-Flash Hider: Availible on all Rifles minus the Gewehr 43) Shooting a rifle equiped with this won't make you appear on radar. it also removes Muzzle flash from your weapon, but the sound is still distinct enough to track it. Also reduces the range factor, making your rounds a bit weaker at far ranges. can also reduce recoil a bit

-Supressor (Found on Gewehr 43, All SMGs minus PPSh) Works just like the flash hider, but also muffles the sound, making it harder for keen eared players to track you.

Grip: found on: Shotguns: Reduces Recoil.... only useful on the Trenchgun, as it reduces it's recoil down by a level, useless on the Doble barrrel.

Rifle Grenade: (Found on all True Bolt actions. and the Gewehr 43, and M1 Garand rifles) : Works a bit like the M203 of MW, but with a larger arc and a slower travel speed. This can also be used a bit like a portable mortor. Make note, it still suffers a bit of the "Noob-toob/stick" bashing, even though you have to earn it this time around. It also takes up Perk 1, but is boosted by Sleight of hand (Loads the second round faster), Fireworks, (it's a grenade/explosive). NOTE: the grenades are ARMED as soon as you fire them! they do not have to travel a distance before priming. that means if you try to humiliate someone like the challenge in MW, you'll take heavy damage/be killed as well in the blast!

"Round Drum, Box/Dual Magazines: (Avalible to: All SMGs, M1A1 Carbine) No matter the name, all do the same thing, usually double your ammo clip capacity meaning less reloads, but at the cost of a slightly longer reload. Still a great choice no matter the gun.

Sniper Scopes: (Attachment for, all 4 Bolt action rifles, Automatically equiped to the PTRS, and also availible to the M1 Garand ) Upgrades damage to 70, and when combined with Stopping power, makes all Torso shots and above 1HKs, (or Chest and higher for the M1). Gives a Zoomed in scope for use (which can be steadied by pressing in the appropriate movement stick) allowing you to hold your breath for 4-5 seconds (9-10 if using Iron Lungs.)

Telescopic Sight (FG-42, SVT-40, Gewehr 43, STG-44): Works just like the ACOG scope of MW, just minus the high tech appearance, and replacing the Orange chevron targeting reticule with a black one. Boost Range stat, and offers 4x Zoom when using the ADS. but reduces Accuracy slightly. Use it if you want to stick back and take your opponets out from a further distance.

And finally.... the "Detachment"
The Sawed-off Shotgun: exclusive to the Double Barrel.... Maxes out damage (20-45 instead of 15-40, but drastically increases shot spread,(reduced accuracy) and reduces range. \

So on this installment of my attempt at a -Theme ~~Week~~ Month- It's time to talk about the MG class of weapons in World at War.

Now you'll notice something very interesting if you came from Call of Duty 4: These are not just "Light machine guns" but both Light and Man Portable Heavy machine guns

What's the difference you ask? Well it should be hopefully obvious

Aside from weight differences in most cases. it comes down to Rate of fire and power in real life. . (and in some cases.... a lack of realism.... *coughM1919Browningcough*) Light MGs can unleash a rain of fire and don't reduce your mobility much. Heavy MGs can cut through heavy cover, and often deal more damage per bullet.

*SPECIAL NOTE* Despite what some people have said elsewhere: MGs DO NOT have the Anti-tank property, Thus, they CAN NOT deal more than the very tiny <1 damage on tanks. That means, even if used as your "Anti Tank" class Primary weapon. You should NEVER fire at a tank unless you got a clear shot at a nearly destroyed (on fire/heavy smoke) rear armor! The only other time is to try and distract the driver, or to take down a turrent gunner.

Type 99 (LMG)- The first MG the player will have access to... It's also suffers from "Eww... the newb gun" syndrome. But despite this.. it's actually a decent weapon. Accurate. easy to use Iron Sights, low Recoil, decent RoF. Deep Impact is a good choice here.. It's only draw backs? blocks a good portion of your Field of view, and only has a 30 round magazine that's slow to reload. Unfortunetly... you'll probably have completed all the marksman challenges long before you have Double Tap or Sleight of hand. So go with which ever 2nd tier perk you see fit (Stopping power for example)
Interesting note: The type 99 is one of 2 MGs that have more than the Tier 1 challenge for the bi-pod. it can also equip a Bayonet. ( This was true to life, although the bayonet was part of the bipod system)

B.A.R.: This thing is a beast! It's slow, but powerful, and quite accurate as well. However, it's got a very small magazine (20) and has a bit of kick back as well.

DP-28: A powerful Heavy Machine gun, this thing has 47 round per drum. It's only draw back is it's low mobility and huge recoil

MG-42: the Spam gun of doom. it should be noted that it has a very drastically reduced ammo clip (64) compared to Campaign. However, it's still a great suppressing fire capable weapon, and powerful when mounted. Note, when reloading, once a new drum is attached, the gun is reloaded. you can press your "Switch weapon" button and press it again to reload faster

FG-42: This is my favorite one by far. Very accurate, with a small clip. I've found that for my play style, Sleight of Hand Tier 2 perk works wonders with this thing, combined with the Bandolier Tier 1 perk

Browning 1919: Now this is just an awesome MG, High ammo, moderate damage, and also high mobility, on par with the FG-42.. Only draw back is it's painfully slow reload time.

Now before we get into the rest of this brief post... let me state something

YES... I did post, in my cynical style... what is basically advocating violence against the AIG Execs....

Was this said out of anger? you bet... But I wasn't being 100% serious...I don't wish ill will against these people, but I'm certainly not pleased....

BUT NOW... the facts have come out... and more and more... I'm seeing my outrage shift towards Congress...

but... Congress still in "Cover our ass!" mode.... is busy pulling the wool over the American people's eyes....

Liddy has already informed that many AIG execs, concerned for their family probably for no doubt over some of these threats, have been essentially extorted into returning 50% or even all of their bonus pay!

Day 3 of the issue... And now we have every single moron who voted for the 1st Bail out bills, stupidly handing out TARP funds to AIG repeatedly now going.... "It wasn't our fault!"

Yea.. I know... Theme week is now over run it's time by 2 weeks... Sorry...

In other news.. is the AIG debacle now with their millions in bonuses paid by us Tax Payers...

So.. our messiah, Obama, will surely have a solution right!....... right?

Errrr not so much. First, over the weekend.. was a meek little mewing that sounded something like "oh... well... we can't really do anything legal to stop them if it's a contract"

Actually... there is... it's called "Stop handing the morons my money..." It's a super easy plan actually!

Step 2. Punch Execs in the face.

Step 4. Take tax payer money away and inform them they will no longer receive bail out money. Use money gained to give everyone a free beer or something for St Patrick's Day

(Side note, While I may not be a stock market expert.. I'm reasonably sure beer companies are recession proof)

Actually realistically... you'd only need the first half of Step 4... "No more money for you!"

Ah.. it's a good day... all for one reason... It's SMG time...

No fancy discussion about differences in attachments (they all have the same in practice, minus PPSh which just lacks the ability to be silenced.)

Today is an EASY DAY.

No seriously, I can sum this day up with a few words: MP-40 Double Clip.....

Of course... if I DID sum it up that way and leave it at that, I'd get tons of flaming hate mail from the anti-MP40 crowd... and the people wanting to know about the other guns....

Let's avoid that shall we?

ACTUAL POST:

SMGs are quite a bit more varied, but only 4 choices for this class type. Each fits certain play styles.

You can't really go wrong with any of their attachments, but 2 most popular are of course the Supresor and Round Drum/Box Magazine/Double Clip. Obviously, choose the one that fits your style. Supresor for the run and gun "ninja" class set up, Aperture Sight for some medium range sharp shooting, or the Extended magazines for run and gun with less concern on if you have enough ammo in your clip or not to take down an opposing player.

Thompson (Starter weapon)- Ah, the classic American entry, the Tommy Gun, the Chicago Typewriter, and the Trench broom. made famous in War movies and by gangsters (movies and real life). What ever you call it, the one thing that's true no matter who you are is that it's reliable. Dealing 20-40 damage per round, the same as the Type 100, it sacrifices some ammo capacity for penetration ability on par that of a rifle. (Other SMGs would need the Deep Impact perk to do the same). a Round drum increases ammo capacity from 20 to 40 rounds, at the cost. Very accurate with easy to manage Recoil.

MP 40 ( level 10) - Oh boy.... This is the gun that causes forum flame wars to start.... "It's too powerful" (29-50 damage per hit) "Yea but it has the highest recoil of the group!" (Bounces all over the place, needing burst fire...) "But it can be equiped with 64 round double clip!, averaging only 2-4 shots depending on perk!" "But it has the slowest rate of fire out of the SMGs!" "yea, but you can use other perks, like Jugernaut/Jugger-noob to easily outlast the other shooter!"

it just goes on and on and on... Use this if you want a REALLY powerful SMG, but at your own risk of possible mass flamming!

Type 100 (level 25)- The type 100 deals 20-40 damage per hit with a 30 round magazine or 60 round extended clip. It's the SMG's Class mIddle of the road option that's well ballenced. it excells very well with the Supressor, but does great with the other attachments as well. use this if your looking for a bit of a stealthy "Sharp shooter" SMG or have no real 1 way preference

PPSh-41(level 53): Extremely weak (14-22 damage per hit) but rediculously fast and accurate fire, the PPSh-41 fires so fast, that even Double Tap can't increase it's RoF any faster! it's very accurate at long ranges with careful burst fire, but you'll need to use a large portion of your clips. In truth, Bandolier is almost a requirement, Stopping power is virtually useless due to it's low damage, Extremely high RoF, and I'd suggest using the Aperture sight combined with Sleight of hand if you use the basic 35 round clip, or Bandolier+ Round drum + your choice of second perk (minus Stopping power and Double tap) + Steady aim for a powerful run and gun class.

............. Your still here?!?!? Why in the name of.... oh right... Theme week post.....(You know who you are... Mr "You haven't updated your CoD WaW Theme week yet!')

RIFLES- Rifle's are the bit of the "Oddball" class of weapons in CoD WaW. They range from your general purpose Battle rifles, to Multirole, and other types. obviously, each has their purpose.

SVT-40 (Type: Battle Rifle: Clip size 10 rounds, 110 Max ammo. Starting weapon) The SVT is the Russian entry into this catagory. And despite it's status as a Starter weapon... it's actualyl pretty decent. . Overall it's a decent weapon, a bit on the week side (30 to 40 damage on a target, not counting the single critical hit modifier) I highly suggest to new players, to try the attachments. Especially the Flash Hider and Aperture sight. The flash hider because it let's you get off a few more shots before someone realizes where you are and counter attacks (not to mention, you don't appear on radar when shooting) The Aperture sight, because it helps you line up shots a bit easier, including far off ones.

Gewehr 43 (pronounced GUH-VAIR). (Battle Rifle: 10 round clip 120 max, level 7) As soon as your done with the SVT's marksman challenges... switch to this. Better Iron Sights, more accurate. and a few marginally better upgrades.

M1 Garand (Multirole Battle Rifle: 8 round clip, levle 17) Ever had a hard time deciding what you needed? Then this is a good choice. It has the lowest clip of the group. But it's also the most powerful. Not only that, but it can equip a Bayonet, which improves it's close range ability. Or, you can equip a Scope to it, giving the most accurate "Sniper rifle" in the game, and the fastest.

StG-44: (Assault Rifle 30 round clip, Level 37): The weakest in power of all the rifles, it makes up for this issue by being accurate at any range, and being full auto... It's also a weapon I both hate, and yet like. It's extremely accurate, has low recoil, and works well with either Double tap or Stopping power ( I kinda prefer Stopping power). But on the down side, you often see people wield this and never touch another Battle rifle again, purely because, it's Full auto. My other issue. It kinda makes you take away Perk 3 for Steady aim. where as battle rifles let you toy around with them.

I often joke, that you can tell who's the Call of Duty 4 mind set transplant by figuring out their Custom classes.
If their classes inculde the StG 44, MP40, DP-40 and 356 magnum, and either M1 Scoped or PTRS... then guess what, you've probably just met a CoD4 transplant. (the like minded view is AK47/M4 Carbine, MP5, RPD, M21 or M40 ACOG, and the Desert eagle, granted I'm a bit guilty as well

M1 Carbine: (Multi Role, Battle Rifle, 15 round clip, 30 if using Box Magazine, Level 65): The pinnicle of the rifle catagory. shame you only get it for the last level (and often prestige for more classes/cooler Icon) This has Gewher's Accuracy, the M1's Power and multirole function., the StG's mobility and ammo. have fun!

CoD WaW Theme Week 1- Bolt Action Rifles

OK so the title is a bit of a joke.

With the Exception of the Springfield, and the PTRS(which isn't a bolt action per-say), all Bolt action rifles have to first earn Marksman I challenges before they gain their Sniper scope.

Interestingly enough, All Sniper rifles apparently cause the same damage (70) but this can be changed via perks.

Stopping power is of GREAT use to all bolt Action rifles. The reason of this is described on the call of duty Wikia:

"increases the amount of damage of a user's bullet by 40%. In almost all situations this means that one less bullet will be required for a kill. Because of this fact, Stopping Power is significantly more useful on weapons with low rates of fire, where one bullet can mean a lot. Inversely, it is relatively ineffective on weapons with high rates of fire because for these guns one bullet does not mean as much"

You can't get much slower than Bolt action!. With Stopping power, it increases the 1 hit kill range to the stomach as well as the chest/neck/head, scoped or unscoped. (Though Range still is a factor with a non scoped version).

The other factor is this to consider, but not too big. a Scoped bolt action is reduced to reloading bullets one at a time (just like in real life). where as with out it, it loads a stripper clip (oddly enough, the action is still seen loading all 5 bullets in at once, even if you still have ammo left.in the clip)

So if they all deal the same damage.... what's the difference? The answer is simple, each bolt action has it's little quirks. So lets move on.

Springfield 1903A4 The U.S. entry in this catagory, as the name implies, the Springfield was designed in 1903 and was the main rifle for the Americans during WWI. At the time of WWII, it was being phased out, but with the M1 Sniper varient not availible yet, the Springfield maintained it's usage as the sniping weapon of choice for the U.S. forces.
Notes: Availible from the start. Scope availible from the get go. Only has 2 Marksman challenges because of this. Has misalligned iron sights. Has fastest bolt cycle in the game.

Arisaka Type 99: The Imperial Army's entry. The Arisaka, like the Springfield, is availible right from the start. but does not start off with the scope. The good news is. the Arisaka has very easy to use Iron Sights (making a great choice to use a Bayonet or Rifle grenades instead)

Scoped: The difference here, is that the Arisaka has the 3rd lowest sway (beaten only by the PTRS and a scoped M1) but makes it the least sway of the true bolt action rifles. making it the most accurate of them all.

Mosin-Nagant (level 21): It has decent Iron sights. Don't be fooled by the stat info page... it's no stronger than the other rifles. it's overall a decent weapon, with no frills, great for those without a preference (or if your just looking for Marksmanship XP)

Scoped: No little gimmicks here... the Mosin is the "Worst" of the bolt actions, but it's far from a bad gun. use it to your hearts content.

Kar98k(level 41): The Kar can be best described as the middle of the road bolt action.. It has the 2nd fastest bolt cycle (behind the Springfield). has good Iron sights. and get's the job done.

Scoped: here, it's speed once again. with a somewhat faster cycling action. good for those that want the Arisaka's "take careful aim" style, and the Spring fields quick firing.

PTRS-41 (levle 57): No Marksman to complete here as you already get the Scope., A semi auto anti tank rifle with far superior fire rate to the bolt actions. (that' was normally crewed by 4 men and weighs 42+ lbs, and fired from the prone position) It doesn't deal more damage numbers wise per se... but... that's on normal targets...

PTRS Special properties: Scope is always equiped, 2nd lowest Sway in the game, (2nd most accurate Sniper rifle). "Gib-Factory", Full clip reloads. Anti-tank ( only primary weapon in the game that deals more than <1 damage versus tanks. dealing anywhere between 10-30 damage out of the Tanks out of their 1350 health.)

So with such great features... what flaws can the gun have? It has 3.

It's LOUD. There is no mistakeing the sound of a PTRS shooting ANYWHERE on the map.
2. It's noticible... it's a large gun....
3. Limited ammo (30 max)

So heres the break down.
Springfield: High RoF
Arisaka: High Scope Accuracy
Mosin-Nagant: No frills, do what it needs to do.
Kar: Above average speed, with decent iron sights.
PTRS: "Fist of an angry god"

Youtube comments often time have a distinct stench to them.

And no better does this prove itself, than Political videos.

Don't get me wrong, Some of the videos (and comments) are good, some are horrible... granted yes, your own political inklings affect this...

But it's the comment section.... where crap happens....

Youtube Comments generally eventually call at least one moron with an opposing viewpoint. who proceeds to insult people.

It could the 360 junkie Commenting about how Resistance 2 sucks,

Open letter to "alexhatz (PSN)

Congratulations... you've succeeded in pissing me off.... why? Because you cheated...

For all those who don't know, Mr.alexhatz, a "Gold Cross (10th prestige) on CoD4's Multiplayer apparently.. doesn't deserve that award...

"Why?" you ask?

Simple... because apparently, for him to do well... alexhatz... decided to use a modded controller (Lord only knows I'll be dealing with that crap appearing on the advertisement bars....)

Whats a modded controller? a controller that has been modified for cheating purposes, such as Auto-fire function

Whats this all mean? it means, that While alexhatz was using a G3... he was firing it full auto, despite the game setting it to semi auto in multi player

A VERY accurate Assault Rifle, with no Recoil and little if any spread, firing at full auto speed, yet being a semi auto gun.....

So.. to all my fellow PSN players.... block alexhatz.... let cheaters like him know... those who cheat, are nothing more than FAIL!

I apparently spoke to friggin early last post. Because even though the Election is for the most part over aside from a few narrow races waiting on absentee ballots and run-offs

-Apparently, instead of learning from their mistakes (yet again) my party has apparently decided that the best solution, is to be stupid (yet again) and be even MORE like Democrat Lite.... Do the Republican party a favor: if you:
1. Believe that we need to "repackage our message- you need to either switch your party affiliation to D or I
2: if you believe we need to seem more hip by trying to act like "Big Goverment hand out group: you need to change your affiliation to either D, or I.
3: if you think we need to end Reaganism/conservative thought in the party, you need to change your affiliation to either D. or I.
and finally
4. If you thought the party was too conservative, and that we "HAVE TO ELECT MCCAIN" or else, then latter on, jumped ship and then went for Obama because he started leading in the polls to save your own hide, then you need to stop claiming your a Republican, All you are, is an oppurtunistic backstabber who does anything to stay in the MSM's/Democrats good graces.... only to still get rediculed by them, and just annoying other Republicans after you've bashed them

in the Run offs, correction from before, Ted Stevens has gotten the boot, even though thats one less Republican in Congress, it's one I have no problems to see going. May his bridge to nowhere lead him to his new cell... hope you have heating there buddy. Also I applaud the recount staff from both parties for playing by the rules and actually doing it right, none of the circus like crazyness of other recounts going on.
The same goes for the District 1 battle that ended here in Maryland, Frank Kravotol (appologize if I get names wrong) beat out Andy Harris (who although i couldn't vote for him, due to being outside of that district, I supported) for the House seat. I applaud them both for being civil and not pulling any crazy stunts on the absentee ballots, which decided it all in that race. a slight comforting thought, is that Kavotol at least got a rating of "AQ" (A+ rating via a questionare on supporting the 2nd ammendment, but no record of voting yet due to not being in any elected position yet) from the NRA,

Unfortunetly.... thats 2 places,

1 election is still waiting for a december Run off (with early voting already starting) in Georgia between Jim Martin (D) and Saxby Chamblis (R) who is running for re-election in the Senate

Meanwhile in Minnisota, it's a circus show going on up there, with Al Franken (oh dear god HE has a shot at becoming a Senator? the same idiot who stole funds from charitys to run his failed radio station: Air America, and also evaded Taxes?) the Democrat challenger trying to pull every recount fraud trick in the book on Norm Coleman (R).... Apparently according to Franken, someone who voted for "Lizard people" really intended to vote for him....

yes, that ballot write in reads "Lizard People" and yes, that is an actual ballot.... There is no trick involved in this, and I've beeng going "WTF?!?!?! o0" for the past 12 minutes now...
